Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is received the Android 5.0 Lollipop update in several regions, even the Verizon variant of the tablet is now running the latest Android Lollipop.
If you happen to be an AT&T user in possession of the Galaxy Tab S 8.4, there’s a piece of good news for you. The carrier has started rolling out the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update for the handset.
Apart from all the goodies and enhancements introduced with Android 5.0 Lollipop, the latest update comes with additional animations, better notifications, as well as Device Protection feature which requires users to login with the Google account in case of theft or lost, even after a factory reset.

The update is sized at a whopping 1.1GB so make sure you’re connected to a WiFi network if you don’t want to choke out your data allowance. The update is rolling out as we speak so you should get it in the next few days. Alternatively, you can check for the update manually by going to Settings > General > About Device > Software update.
