For those of you who are still using the AT&T HTC One X+ in the US, you be glad to know that AT&T is rolling out the final Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update with Sense 5.0, making it the last update to reach the device.
If you don’t know, HTC already announced that HTC One X and One X+ will not get the latest Android 4.4 KitKat update, not even the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean one. This should come as a disappointing news to many of those who are still using the handset, but I guess it might be a good time to replace it, or wait for the next flagship to arrive.
Along with all the goodies that comes with the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, it comes with Sense 5.0 and fixes related to NFC and AT&T Address book.
The update is rolling out as we speak, and it should take a few weeks for the roll out to complete. It’s hitting the early devices, and if you’re in possession of a HTC One X+ from AT&T, wait for the notification to arrive. In case you’re too impatient, you can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software updates > Check for Updates.
If you already upgraded, share with us if you notice any other improvement in the latest update using the comments below.
