Gamers patiently waiting to get their hands on the new Atari console, will be pleased to know that from December 14th, 2017 onwards Atari will open up preorders for the Ataribox. Enabling those interested in owning the new gaming console the ability to pay a $250 deposit. Atari recently sent out an email to those that are already registered their interest announcing that “earliest supporters” will be able to receive the console at a discounted price, Atari writes “Sign-up now and access the launch-day deal of up to 33% off.”
Just to recap at the current time Atari has not announced any official release date for the console, but it has been rumoured that the Ataribox will start shipping sometime during late spring. Unfortunately no other details have been revealed as yet by Atari such as the games that will be included, but as soon more details are announced about the crowdfunding campaign that will start next year we will keep you up-to-date as always.
