Asus has launched a new Windows 8 tablet, the Asus VivoTab 8 , and the device is equipped with an 8 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
The Asus VivoTab 8 comes with Windows 8.1, and the tablet is powered by a quad core 1.86GHz Intel Atom Z3745 processor, the device will come with 1GB or 2GB of RAM depending on which version you choose.
Other specifications on the Asus VivoTab 8 include 32GB of built in storage, if you need additional storage, the tablet comes with a microSD card slot for expansion.
The Asus VivoTab 8 also comes with 5GB of cloud storage, and Asus are offering it with an extra 11GB for the first year. The tablet features a 2 megapixel front facing camera and a 2 megapixel rear camera.
As yet there are no details on how much the new Asus VivoTab 8 tablet will retail for, although it is expected to be a budget Windows 8 tablet and should retail for around the $200 mark.
