Asus Transformer Pad 300 Tablet Announced

Asus has added another new tablet to its Transformer range with the launch of the Asus Transformer Pad 300, which is designed to be more budget friendly than their flagship Transformer Prime tablet.

The Asus Transformer Pad 300 is powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and it comes with a 10.1 inch IPS touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

Other specifications on the Asus Transformer Pad 300 include 1GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage, the device comes with a plastic casing instead of the aluminum casing on the Transformer Prime and it also features a keyboard dock.

The device will also be available with optional LTE and it will come with the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The Asus Transformer Pad 300 will be available in a range of different colors, which include, black, blue, and white and the tablet is expected to retail for around $399.
