Asus has added another new netbook to its Eee PC range with the launch of the Asus Eee PC 1201K. The Asus 1201K is a little different than the standard Eee PCs, as there is no Intel Atom processor, instead it is powered by an AMD Geode NX1750 processor.
The Asus Eee PC 1201K features a 12.1 inch LED backlit display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and it will come in two colors, black and silver.
The Asus Eee PC 1201K is designed to be a low cost netbook, it comes with Windows XP Home, and features 1GB of DDR1 RAM, and comes with a choice of either a 160GB, 250GB or 320GB hard drive.
Other specifications include integrated 802.11 WiFi, plus optional Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, a o.3 megapixel camera, two USB 2.0 ports, and a six cell battery.
There are no details on pricing or availability as yet.
