Last month, ASUS launched its nifty little Chromebox that will let users get access to the Chrome OS as well as other Google apps.

For $179, you’ll be able to get your hands on the 1.4 GHz Celeron 2955U, as well as 2GB of RAM and 16GB of SSD storage. On the connectivity side, you’ll get 4 USB 3.0 ports, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, HDMI output, as well as an SD card reader under the hood.
The ASUS Chromeboox measures 4.88 x 4.88 x 1.65 inches and weighs only 2.2lbs so you can rest assured that it’s lightweight and wouldn’t be too bulky if you decide to take it with you anywhere. However, make sure you know that $179 will only get you the Chromebox, and not any other peripheral devices or the monitor, which you have to get separately, or use any present in your house.
