ASUS Blue Cave AC2600

Those of you looking for a new router might be interested in the ASUS Blue Cave AC2600 Router launched this week and now available to purchase priced at around $180. The unique Blue Cave router offers comprehensive commercial grade security thanks to inclusion of ASUS’s AiProtection technology. As well as out-of-the-box Internet of Things integration with support for Amazon Alexa and the awesome IFTTT service allowing you to set up a wide variety of different commands depending on your preferences.

ASUS explains the new router is capable of delivering “ultrafast AC2600-class concurrent” dual-band wireless speeds and is capable of streaming smooth 4K Ultra HD video and offers enough capacity for the whole family to enjoy gaming simultaneously. Internally the Blue Cave includes four antennas specially positioned relative to each other to achieve the best possible signal in all directions, reducing the likelihood of dead wireless spots around your home.

The smart technologies already incorporated into the router are available out of the box, enabling you to control actions using the Amazon Alexa service. Such as telling Alexa to suspend wireless connectivity, or setting up IFTTT to notify you when family members arrive home and more. Tenlong Deng, General Manager, ASUS Networking and Wireless Devices Business Unit explains a little more about what you can expect from the new ASUS Blue Cave AC2600 Router : “Combining years of ASUS experience in wireless innovation and Intel’s connected home technology, Blue Cave delivers ultrafast WiFi speeds throughout your home. Not only is it powerful with easy to use control features, its eye-catching design without external antennas blends perfectly with any décor”. For more information and full specifications jump over to the official ASUS website by following the link below
