ASRock has introduced newly updated X299 Motherboards this week in the form of the X299 Creator, X299 Steel Legend and X299 Taichi CLX. The ASRock X299 Creator motherboard has been designed for content creators, while the X299 Steel Legend offers a motherboard for mainstream users, and the X299 Taichi CLX offers all the bells and whistles of a high-end desktop motherboard.
X299 Creator – Create and Design with Ease
Our flagship motherboard – the X299 Creator, is designed for content creators and is at the high-end of this launch. Based on the Intel’s latest line of processors, the X299 includes plenty of premium features you expect when creating design work in a rush. Our latest Aquantia AQC107 10GbE port, assisted by Intel’s I219-V Gigabit NIC chipset provides dual Ethernet ports at the rear making connectivity versatile and fast. The X299 features an 11 phase power design is an integrated power stage solution which intelligently and accurately delivers current up to 50 A for each phase thus providing improved thermal results and superior performance. USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type C is the latest USB technology to deliver up to 20 Gbps transfer rates which is twice as fast as previous generations and maximizes data transfer rates with a reversible USB Type-C design that can fit the connector either way.
X299 Taichi CLX – Bringing Power to an otherwise normal system
Our third highlight we’d like to bring your attention to is the release of the X299 Taichi CLX. The X299 CLX fits between our mainstream
Steel Legend and the high-end Creator. It provides something for everyone and takes full advantage of some of the features from both motherboards. The super alloy design, support for Intel’s Core X-Series processors (LGA 2066), 13 power phase design (Dr.MOS), support for DDR4 4200, 4 PCIe 3.0 x16 and 1 PCIe 3.0 slot.
