Apple has now started take pre-orders of the iPhone X in the UK. The new flagship iPhone can be pre-ordered from Apple’s website and also from withing the Apple Store app on the iPhone and iPad. There are two versions of the handset available to pre-order. A 64GB version of the new iPhone costs £999 and a 256GB version of the handset costs £1149
Apple will launch their iPhone X in the UK next Friday the 3rd of November 2017. The handset will be available to buy in Apple stores around the world from next Friday. Demand for the handset is expected to be high and we will find out how popular it is later today.
The new iPhone comes with a new design, the handset features a 5.8 inch edge to edge Super Retina HD display that has a resolution of 2436 x 1125 pixels. The handset comes with a new Apple A11 Bionic processor with Neural engine and 3GB of RAM. There are two storage options, 64GB and 256GB.
The device is designed to be splash and dust resistant and it comes with an IP67 rating. There are three cameras on the handset, one on the front and two on the back. Up front we have a 7 megapixel TrueDepth camera. On the back there are two 12 megapixel cameras, one with a wide angle lens, the other a telephoto lens.
Apple’s new iPhone X will come with iOS 11, we are expecting iOS 11.1 to be released before the handset launches next week. As we said earlier demand for the handset is expected to be high and it could end up being in short supply for a while if demand outstrips supply.
