Apple released their fifth beta of iOS 12.1 recently, the company is expected to release the final version of the software later this month.
Ever since the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max launched, there has been criticism over photos taken with the front camera and whether these photos smoothed out blemishes in peoples skin, this was given the name BeautyGate.
According to a recent report by The Verge, Apple will address this issue in the release of iOS 12.1, there will be changes made to the camera software.
Apple’s will be adjusting their Smart HDR algorithm in the new iOS update in order to keep more details in photos and get rid of the issue where it appears to be smoothing out and beautifying peoples skin in photos.
The new iOS 12.1 software is either expected to land some time at the end of October pr in early November, as soon as we get some more details about the software, we will let you guys know.
