As well as releasing iOS 11.1 this week, Apple also released their first beta of iOS 11.2. The latest beta of iOS brings a range of new features to the iPhone and iPad, the software also comes with some performance improvements and bug fixes.
The video below from the guys over at 9 to 5 Mac shows some of the new features that are coming to the iPad and the iPhone in the new iOS 11.2 beta. This is the first beta of the software, so we can expect to wait a while until Apple released the software to everyone.
As we can see from the video, there is a fix for the issue on the calculator, plus some changes to Notifications settings in the TV app and more.
Here is a list of some of the new features that are included in the first beta of iOS 11.2:
- Calculator issues fixed
- Square icon in Control Center music controls
- Hover highlighting in App Store search
- Tweaked emojis
- Notifications setting for TV app
- Updated Live Photo effects loading animation
- Double clicking side button no longer locks device
- iPhone 8/X wallpaper released for older devices
- Updated Camera app icon in Messages app
- Control AirPlay 2-enabled devices like Apple TV
As soon as we get some details on when Apple plans to release their iOS 11.2 software update we will let you guys know. It could be some time around the end of November or maybe in early December.
