Apple’s iOS 11 beta 1 was first released to developers back in June at WWDC 2017. Apple has now released iOS 11 beta 6.
The new iOS 11 beta 6 is now available to both developers and also members of Apple’s public beta testing program.
The iOS 11 Beta 6 software brings a range of new features to apple’s iPhone and iPad. The software gets a new look over the current version of iOS. There is also a new Control Center, plus some changes to the notification center with the lock screen.
There are also changes to Apple’s Camera and Photos apps and Siri will get some new voices and a range of new features. Apple have said that they will release iOS 11 some time this fall, although they have not given a specific release date for the OS.
We are expecting iOS 11 to be made available for existing devices some time in September, along with Apple’s new iPhone 8. As well as the iPhone 8, Apple is also expected to launch a new iPhone 7S and 7S Plus.
The new iOS 11 Beta 6 software is now available to download. In order to install the software on your device, you either need to be a registered developer, or signed up to Apple’s public beta testing program.
