One of the new features that was announced for macOS Sierra is the addition of Apple Pay and you will be able to use Apple Pay to make payments online.
At the moment Apple Pay is only available in some iOS apps and also at retail stores with the iPhone, this will change with the launch of the new macOS.
Apple’s mobile payment system on the Mac will let you make purchases online and you will be able to authenticate your purchase by either pressing TouchID on your iPhone or by authenticating on your Apple watch.
This could be a major boost for Apple’s mobile payment system, as the majority of eCommerce shopping is done online, so people will be able to use Apple Pay. The company also announced that it is expanding its mobile payment system to Switzerland, France, and Hong Kong this summer.
