The new Apple iPhone X will go on sale early next month. The handset will go up for pre-order this month on the 27th of October. Apple are launching the device on the 3rd of November. The iPhone X had now received approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US ahead of next months launch.
Apple’s iPhone X is the companies first smartphone to feature an OLED display. The handset is equipped with a 5.8 inch Super Retina HD display that comes with a resolution of 2436 x 1125 pixels.
Apple’s new flagship iPhone is powered by the same processor as the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, the A11 Bionic, which has already shown impressive results in benchmarks. The handset will also come with 3GB of RAM and a choice of 64GB or 256GB of storage.
Other specifications on the new Apple iPhone X include facial recognition for unlocking the device and also for Apple Pay, this is called Face ID. The handset also comes with wireless charging and front and rear cameras.
On the front of the iPhone X is a new TrueDepth camera with a 7 megapixel sensor and on the back there are two 12 megapixel cameras. The handset comes with the latest version of Apple’s mobile OS, iOS 11.The device is expected to be in high demand when it launched in early November.
