Apple is rumored to be working on two new models of the alleged iPhone 6, which will offer a larger screen compared to the current device. We’ve seen a great deal of leaks, showing us the mock up and dummy units of the alleged device, created based on the leaked information available to us.
According to a new report, the upcoming iPhone 6 will come with wireless charging capabilities, as well as NFC connectivity. We’ve seen a rumor before that Apple will implement a new type of NFC technology in the upcoming device.
The report also mentions that Apple will introduce a better 4G antenna, as well as a bigger screen, which we already know. The information comes from VentureBeat, who were told by a source close to the situation. The same source said it will come with iOS 8 as its operating system. The alleged device is almost ready and is being tested for things like durability, speed, and network performance.
The same source also tells us that the features could change at the last moment. Apple has, in past, removed features on the last moment before they release the new iPhone. The features are a part of the current design, but let’s just wait for Apple to officially unveil the handset.
Previous rumors hinted that Apple will launch a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 later this fall, possibly in September, alongside the iWatch. The new device is rumored to come with A8 processor, an ultra retina display, as well as the ability to measure health-related metrics.
