Apple has announced that Verizon Wireless will start selling the iPad from October 28th, users will be able to access the Verizon network on their iPad through the Verizon MiFi 2200 which will be sold with the iPad.
Verizon will be selling the WiFi version of the iPad, on a stand alone basis for the same price as Apple retail stores, and also an iPad WiFi + MiFi bundle.
The 16GB iPad an MiFi bundle will retail for $629, the 32GB and MiFi bundle will retail for $829 and the 64GB and MiFi bundle will retail for $829.99.
There will be three data plans available on the Verizon network, $20 a month will get you 1GB of data, $30 a month will get you 3GB of data and $50 a month will get you 5GB of data.
All of the above plans are on a month to month basis, so you will not have to sign up to a long contract.
