Apple recently released the latest version of their mobile OS, Apple iOS 7.1, which brings a range of new features to the iPhone, iPad and iPad Touch.
According to a recent report by Chitika, adoption of Apple iOS 7.1 has reached 6 percent in the first twenty four hours since the update was released.
As with most minor version updates, iOS 7.1 adoption rates have been less dramatic than those of its major-version counterparts. In the 24 hours following the operating system’s public release, iOS 7.1 users generated 5.9% of total North American iOS Web traffic.
Yesterday we saw a video that showed us all of the new features in Apple iOS 7.1, the update included a number of improvements, UI tweaks, and also Apple CarPlay.
We also heard that Apple iOS 7.1 brought a number of performance improvements to older device like the iPhone 4. One thing to note is that if you have a jailbroken iPhone, updating to Apple iOS 7.1 will break the jailbreak on your device, as a number of security holes were closed in the update.
