Last week Apple released iOS 5.0.1, which was supposed to fix the battery problems that many users have been experiencing with iOS 5 and the iPhone 4S and iPhone 4, unfortunately it looks like the update didn’t solve the problem for everyone.
A number of users on Apple’s support forums continued to report problems with the battery life on their device after the iOS 5.0.1 update, and now Apple has said that they are continuing to investigate the issue, when speaking to the guys over at All Things D.
The recent iOS software update addressed many of the battery issues that some customers experienced on their iOS 5 devices,” the company said in a statement given to AllThingsD. “We continue to investigate a few remaining issues.”
So we can probably expect another software update from Apple within the next week or so, once they have worked out what is causing the battery issues, lets hope the next update fixes the problem.
