Apple recently launched CarPlay, and the function is now available on Apple iOS devices with the release of Apple iOS 7.1, there are a number of manufacturers who will add CarPlay to their vehicles this year.
Now Toyota has announced that they will be bringing Apple’s CarPlay to their vehicles in 2015, the company was previously confirmed as a partner with Apple for CarPlay.
Mercedes Benz also confirmed that they would bring Apple CarPlay to their older vehicles via the way of an aftermarket solution, this will happen before the end of 2014.
CarPlay was recently shown off at the Geneva Motor Show, and Volvo, Ferrari, Hinda, Hyundai and Mercedes will all launch vehicles with CarPlay built in this year.
Apple also has a number of other partners for CarPlay, which include BMW, Land Rover, Suburau, Suzuki, Nissan, Jaguar, Ford, Kia, Mitsubishi and more, these manufacturers have not given launch dates for their CarPlay enabled vehicles.
