Augmented Reality

Augmented Reality is one of the things that Apple has been working on and now the company has revealed more details about its plans.

Apple CEO Tim Cook recently revealed that the company has been working with Ikea on AR, you can see what he had to say below.

We’ve talked to Ikea, and they have 3D images of their furniture line. You’re talking about changing the whole experience of how you shop for, in this case, furniture and other objects that you can place around the home.

Ikea are working on a n app that will allow their customers to take photos of their homes and then allow them to place furniture in the photos to see if it suits their home, for example you could see what a new bed looks like in your bedroom.

Apple is expected to provide more details about its Augmented Reality plans later this year, we suspect that they will announce something with the launch of their new iPhone 8 in September.
