It has been reported today that Google has rolled out a new Android Wear app update taking the software to version 1.0.2, and which is thought to be a preparatory update for the Android Wear companion app.
A major Android Wear OTA update is expected to be rolled out by Google on or around October 15th 2014 and the latest update adds around 3MB of data to the APK file size.
Unfortunately Google has not as yet released a change log for the new Android Wear 1.0.2 update so it’s not exactly known what is included. However the Android Police have discovered the update includes Google Play Services for Wearables, enhancements via a package sent to the watch from the latest application version 6.1.11 up from older 5.0.91 version.
If you cant wait for the new update to roll out via the Google Play Store you can download the latest APK with Android Wear 1.0.2 update included via the Android Police website.
