Google has announced that it’s adding over a dozen new countries to the list of places where users can try out Android Auto.
The announcement came on Twitter where the search engine giant posted the emoji flags of the countries added to the list of Android Auto supported region.
Majority of countries added to the list are from Asia and South America. Addition of countries like Brazil and India will definitely help Google increase their user base and adoption of their in-car operating system on supported hardware.
Additionally, the company has also released an update for their Android Auto app, which also mentions about the addition of the new countries. Here’s the complete change log:
- Improved phone-car connection reliability
- Ability to browse your music collection without lockouts while vehicle is stopped
- Android Auto now available in 19 more countries, incl. Russia, India, Brazil, Austria, Switzerland, and many more countries in Latin America
