Amazon has announced a new service this week that has been created to enable Amazon users to quickly add products to their Amazon shopping cart using a Twitter hashtag.
The new Amazon #AmazonCart hashtag allows Amazon users to instantly add products to their shopping cart without the need to leave Twitter simply by replying to #AmazonCart.
Making items available in their basket the next time they login to their Amazon account. Watch the video below to see how it works. Amazon explains a little more :
“By connecting your Twitter and Amazon accounts, you are telling Amazon that #AmazonCart requests coming from your Twitter account should be added to your Amazon.com Shopping Cart. Without that link, Amazon would not know to which customer’s Cart to add the item. To edit your connection preferences, visit your Social Settings or opt out of having Amazon respond to your #AmazonCart requests here (your accounts must be connected in order to opt out).”
