Amazon has today launched a new service called Amazon Kindle First which is being created to provide a selection of books to Kindle users a whole month before they are available elsewhere.
The new Amazon Kindle First service not only offers a selection of books a year than anyone else to customers but is also offering them at a reduced rate of $1.99.
Amazon Publishing editors will be chasing four new titles that will be available to Kindle users each month and as a special offer to Amazon Prime members all the selected e-books will be free of charge.
The first selection of books available via the new Amazon Kindle First service include:
– Things We Set on Fire, by Deborah Reed
– No Place for a Dame, by Connie Brockway
– Silent Echo, by J.R. Rain
– We Will Survive: True Stories of Encouragement, Inspiration and The Power of Song, by Gloria Gaynor
All of which will not be available else where until December. The new Amazon Kindle First service has initially ruled out only in the US and the current time, but Amazon’s expected to roll out the service to more locations in the coming months. As they do we will keep you updated as always to the availability of the new Amazon Kindle First book service.
