Amazon has released a new software update for their Amazon Fire Phone, the latest version of the software is Amazon Fire OS 4.6.1.
The previous version of the Amazon Fire OS was based on Android 4.2 and now it would appear that the new Amazon Fire OS 4.6.1 is based on Android 4.4. KitKat.
