Amazon has rolled out a new update to their Amazon Cloud Drive service, which has brought with it the ability to now sync files across multiple devices, making sure you always have the latest and most unto date file available.
The latest Amazon Cloud Drive update put the cloud storage service on a more competitive footing with the likes of Dropbox and other cloud storage services that sync files.
Amazon explains : “Put your important files in Cloud Drive and access them from any of your computers, the Kindle Fire, or online. Get started using your 5 GB of free storage by installing Cloud Drive for Windows and Mac.”
The Amazon Cloud Drive application launched back in May 2012 for both Mac and Windows systems, but without the file syncing feature, was a little pointless when compared to alternative services offering cloud storage solutions.
