Alcatel has this week added a new addition to their range of smartphones, in the form of the newly launched Alcatel One Touch Idol ALPHA, which has been unveiled at the IFA event currently in progress.
The Alcatel One Touch Idol ALPHA takes its place as the companies new flagship smartphone and is equipped with a 4.7-inch edge-to-edge 720p HD display and sports curved lines with and aluminium frame.
The Alcatel One Touch Idol ALPHA is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor supported by 2GB of RAM, but details of the exact processor fitted in the phone have not been released by Alcatel as yet. But its thought it would most likely be a MediaTek, all running Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
Another new and unique feature of the Alcatel One Touch Idol ALPHA smartphone is its case design which incorporates top and bottom transparent edges that light-up whilst charging or taking video, and can alert users of notifications, messges and more.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet for the new Alcatel One Touch Idol ALPHA smartphone, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
