If you fancy a little retro styling on your iPhone as a change from the existing Apple music player a new application has been developed called AirCassette which transforms your iPhone into a retro looking cassette deck from the 1980’s music player, and even allows you to create your very own cassettes you can then share with your friends.
AirCassette supports Apple AirPlay and enables you to simply queue the songs you want to hear next within AirCassette and creates mix tape playlists, displating how many songs you have in your queue and their total play time.Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.
Once you have created a few mix tapes, as they were called in the 80’s you can then publish their digital equivalent to Facebook for other to then use or send them via email. You can choose from a number of different nostalgic cassette models and song information is written on the cassette labels.
