Windows Phone 8 users might be pleased to learn that Adobe Systems has today rolled out their new Adobe Reader application for Windows Phone 8, which was previously only available on Windows Phone 7.5 until today.
The Adobe Reader app for Windows Phone 8 now enables users to read PDF documents on their new Windows smartphone devices with ease, however the app does seem to be lacking features in a few areas.
“With the free Adobe Reader you can open and read a wide variety of PDF documents, including ones that come password protected. Built-in features include the ability to copy and paste, search the text for specific words, and zoom in on a page. Navigate docs quick with thumbnails, then read page-by-page or in continuous scroll mode. Hyperlinks and bookmarks are supported, too, so you can jump directly to a webpage or to a particular section of a PDF.”
The new Adobe Reader for Windows Phone 8 is now available to download from the Windows Phone Store for free.
