Acer has added another Iconia tablet to their line up with the launch of the new Acer Iconia B1, which is designed to be a budget Android tablet.
The Acer Iconia B1 features a a 7 inch display, no details on the resolution as yet, and a dual core 1.3GHz processor, plus 1GB of RAM and a choice of either 16GB or 32GB of built in storage.
Acer today unveiled the third generation of the Acer Iconia B1 with a slim design, 10-point touch display and increased performance, setting a new standard for a tablet targeted at young or new users or families looking for an additional tablet for their children. The Iconia B1 is also ideal for busy individuals seeking a convenient mobile companion. The thin design and narrow bezel of the 7” Iconia B1 makes it perfect for e-reading, web browsing, playing games and watching videos.
The Acer Iconia B1 will go on sale in Europe later this month, the 16GB model will retail for 129 Euros, the 32GB model will be available from the end of January and will retail for 179 Euros.
