It’s hard to look past the hard Anime outer shell when first deciding whether to get into the Ace Attorney series, so it hasn’t caught on to the extent that Professor Layton has, for instance, but for those brave and loyal few a possible change in vacation plans may be looming.
A new attraction has opened in the Sega Joyopolis theme park in Japan, called “Ace Attorney Investigations in Joyopolis.” And for 600 yen ($8 or thereabouts) you too can impersonate the purple prosecuting machine Miles Edgeworth and solve a murder mystery in 20 minutes.
You’ll even be given a rank and everything, just like in the games. There’s no word, however, on whether you’ll also receive the trademark frilly scarf to complete your crime-solving attire. And while Sega has similar parks in the US and UK, this is staying Japan-side for now. We’ll probably need to buy a few more million games before they’ll even consider it. Or start an online petition, those are always super effective.
