Apple is rumored to be working on two new iPhone 6 model, carrying a bigger display. Previous rumors suggest that Apple may increase the price of the upcoming iPhone, which may be a little expensive compared to the current iPhone 5S — which already comes with a hefty price tag in many markets.
According to a new report, the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 may comes with a €750 price tag, while the 5.5-inch model will carry an even higher €950 price tag.
These prices are hefty, and they could be true. The report, citing sources at a Spain-based carrier Telefonica, suggest that the above mentioned prices are likely, but the carrier is in talks with Apple about it so there’s a chance we may get to see a lower price. Apple iPhone 5S carries a lower price tag, with the 16GB model priced at €699, the 32GB at €799 and the 64GB model features a €899 price tag.
As for the price in the US, it should be around $750-950 as well — the current iPhone 5S is available for $649 for the SIM-free 16GB version.
Apple has scheduled an event on September 9th where the company is expected to announce the upcoming iPhone 6, as well as the highly anticipated iWatch. Until then, take this with a grain of salt as its not final yet. We’ll update you if any other information comes up.
