BMW has announced the starting price for two models of the 2019 X5 Sports Activity Vehicle. The base model will be the X5 xDrive40i and it will start at $60,700. If you want something a bit fancier, you can opt for the X5 50i xDrive starting at $75,750. Both of those starting prices are in addition to the $995 destination and handling fee.
For the money, buyers will get standard automatic transmission, dynamic damper control, BMW live cockpit professional with nav, dual 12.3-inch displays, seventh gen iDrive, adaptive full LED headlamps, and lots of safety tech. That tech includes active bind spot detection, frontal collision warning with city collision mitigation, panoramic sunroof, and pre-wiring for trailer towing.
The driver will be able to add optional remote start, the latest driver assistance systems, BMW Laserlights, heated steering wheel and armrests, and optional heated and cooled cupholders. xLine, off-road, and M Sport packages will be offered. BMW will also install a factory trailer hitch with 7,000-pound capacity as an option. Options aren’t priced.
