Ford has announced a new version of the performance pack that has been around for several model years. The new package is called the Mustang GT Performance Pack Level 2. Ford says it is to bridge the gap between the GT and the GT350.
The Level 2 package brings with it a lower and more aggressive stance, aerodynamically balanced front splitter and rear spoiler. The car also gains Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires with the package. Along with the tires comes a retuned steering system and MagneRide suspension. Features in the level 1 performance pack are included meaning unique antilock brake turning, Brembo brakes, larger radiator, strut tower brace, and a TORSEN rear differential.
The car also gets 19×10.5 front and 19×11 rear wheels. The tires are 305/30/R19 all around. Buyers who opt for the Performance Pack 2 will also be able to add Recaro seats. Pricing for the level 2 package is unannounced.
