The current Porsche 911 GT3 is only available with Porsche’s automatic PDK transmission, Porsche will offer a manual option on their new 2017 911 GT3, this is a rumor we heard earlier this year and now it has resurfaced.
Porsche recently launched their new 911 R which was manual only and extremely popular so it makes sense that the company would offer the manual box in their new GT3.
As well as the manual option the new 911 GT3 will come with a number of styling updates, these will include a new front end with more aggressive air intakes, a new front spoiler, new LED indicators and a new rear diffuser.
One thing that will not change is the engine, Porsche have introduced turbo chargers in their current 911 range, this will not be carried over to the GT3, it will continue with a 3.8 litre naturally aspirated engine from the existing 911 GT3.
