Apple’s Mac Pro range is definitely due an upgrade, and we have been hearing rumors over the last few months that Apple are working on a new Mac Pro.
Now according to a recent report by The Inquirer, the 2012 Mac Pro range will feature Intel’s new Sandy Bridge E server chips, which are also called the Xeon E5 series.
Intel are expected to launch the new Xeon E5 processors some time next week, so we could possibly see a new range of Mac Pro’s launch at the same time.
According to the guys over at Mac Rumors, these new Xeon E5 processors are expected to bring a significant upgrade to the Mac Pro range, which last had a refresh back in 2010.
