1Password is a password management application that makes it easier to keep up with the ever-increasing password list we rack up nearly on a day-to-day basis. AgileBits, the company behind 1Password, has announced that they are creating a new Android version of the app that’s already in beta testing.
For those keeping score, this will be 1Password version 4, and the leaks thus far make it seem like the company is trying to make the app much more user friendly and easier on the eyes.
Anyone wanting to get in on the beta test will have to wait. AgileBits isn’t taking any tester applications at the moment, but you can sign up for their newsletter to find out the moment the app hits the Play Store.
Keeping your list of passwords on your phone already sounds like a bad idea all around to me. If someone steals your phone and breaks into it you’ve essentially given them the keys to your life, not to mention you’re boned if your phone kicks the bucket and you don’t have another device with the app. I understand it’s the digital age, but some things are better left to good old fashioned recall and paper.
