When Samsung launched the Galaxy S6 And S6 Edge smartphones in India, the devices were available with three different storage options, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
Now Samsung has discontinued the 128GB version of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge in India.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are now only available in 32GB and 64GB versions in India, there are no details on why Samsung has discontinued the higher storage option in India.
This could be due to poor sales of the 128GB models in the country, the 128GB S6 retailed for the equivalent of $970 and the S6 Edge 128GB model retailed for the equivalent of $1,110.
It is not clear as yet on whether Samsung will do this in other countries, we suspect it will depend on how well sales of the 128GB model are doing in specific countries.
