Microsoft has this week started offering 100GB of free OneDrive storage to US residents if they sign up for a free Bing Rewards account.
Bing Rewards was launched by Microsoft in 2010 and provides credits to users through regular Bing searches and special promotions, the credits can then be redeemed for various products.
Formally known as SkyDrive the new OneDrive cloud storage service created by Microsoft has been integrated into their Windows operating system and allows an easy way of backing up important documents to the cloud directly from your Windows system.
The 100GB of free OneDrive storage is available to use for two years free of charge and offers an impressive sized area to store your documents, media and files online. At the present time Microsoft offers 100GB of OneDrive cloud storage for $1.99 per month offering those of you that take up the offer to save $47.76 over the two years.
Unfortunately Bing Rewards this only currently available within the US, and Microsoft at the current time hasn’t announced when it will be rolling out worldwide.
