Xiaomi Redmi 1S will once again go on sale in India in the traditional flash sale model. The company has successfully sold thousands of units through Flipkart in just a few seconds — not just of the Redmi 1S, but the Xiaomi Mi3 as well.
If you missed out on the last sale, the company is giving you another chance on October 14th to get your hands on the Xiaomi Redmi 1S.
Flipkart mentioned that over 100,000 units will go on sale on October 14th, and will follow the traditional flash sale model of the company. This means to be eligible to purchase a unit, users must register ahead of the sale if you want to score a unit on the sale day. The retailer mentioned that over 300,000 users have already registered for the next sale — customers who missed out on the last sale also need to register.
Xiaomi Redmi 1S costs Rs 5,999 (almost $98), which is an amazing price considering the set of specifications the handset has to offer. Xiaomi Redmi 1s features a 4.7-inch 720p display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage with a microSD card slot, 8MP camera for photos and videos, a 1.6MP front-facing camera, a 2,000 mAh battery and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean as its operating system.
