THQ a games developer has sent the Queen a gold plated Nintendo Wii, to celebrate the launch of thier latest game, ‘Big Family Games’.

“We thought that Her Majesty the Queen wouldn’t want to play on any old console, so an extra-special gold one was commissioned. We hope that she and the rest of the Royal Family enjoy the game!”

The gold plated Wii was sent to the Queen as a publicity stunt, and it seems to have worked as lots of sites have featured this gold plated Wii.
