Steampunk Plasma Speaker (video)

We have featured a number of Steampunk creations here on Geeky Gadgets by Steampunk designers who have and created some amazing creations like the awesome homemade Steampunk Secured Flash Drive and the Robot Wireless Mouse.

Polish artist Conscious Flesh has also now created a worthy mention with his Steampunk Plasma Speaker which combines a state of the a plasma arc speaker together with a retro Steampunk styling. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.

Plasma arc speakers vary the density of a plasma, rather than using a magnetic field to push or pull a conventional driver, to create compression waves in air to create sound. More information about Plasma arc speakers can be found here.
