In a recent Eurogamer interview, Blizzard’s Greg Street just takes the question of Blizzard developing for the iOS and runs with it. Unfortunately, he heads into pretty familiar territory. Yes, Blizzard would love to do something for iDevices, but they need to carefully consider the possibilities. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Blizzard interview without the question of WoW on consoles popping up as well.
The WoW thing is pretty cut and dry: PC only for the foreseeable future. It’s the iOS issue where Street has left a bit of wiggle room. “Everyone I know here has an iPhone or an iPad so we’re huge fans of the hardware,” he said. “If we could make the right game changes to make that work, it’s something we’d be interested in. It’s not something you’re going to see in the next week or two, but it’s the kind of thing we’re always looking at.” We admit that that Starcraft headline was a bit of a shot in the dark. But what else are they going to bring over, Diablo 3?
