Sony has added another Android smartphone to their Xperia range with the launch of the Sony Xperia E, which will be available with a choice of either a single SIM card slot or a dual SIM card slot.
The Sony Xperia E will come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and the handset will feature a 3.5 inch display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, processing is provided by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A processor.
Consumers looking to take their first steps into the world of Xperia smartphones would be well advised to look at Xperia E or Xperia E dual. They are perfect for those seeking affordable access to the quality and functionality more traditionally associated with high-end Android smartphones,” said Calum MacDougall, Director Xperia Marketing at Sony Mobile Communications.
Other specifications on the Sony Xperia E include a 3.2 megapixel rear camera with auto focus for photos and video and the ability to record VGA video, there is also 512MB of RAM and a microSD card slot.
The Sony Xperia E will launch in the first quarter of 2012, there are no details on pricing as yet, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
