It looks like owners of the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus should be getting a software update for the device which is designed to fix the volume bug on the handset, yesterday Google confirmed they had an update in the works.
Now Samsung UK has also released a statement, this time the new came via Twitter, and Samsung have also said that they are working to deliver the software update.
Regarding the Galaxy Nexus, we are aware of the volume issue and have developed a fix. We will update devices as soon as possible.
We still don’t have an exact time frame for the update from either Google or Samsung, hopefully owners of the device won’t have to wait too long, and Samsung and Google obviously want to release the update as soon as possible, as it cant exactly be the best press for their new flagship Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone.
