Microsoft’s latest operating system, Windows 8 will launch on the 26th of October, and now Microsoft has released a Windows 8 software update ahead of the official launch.
The Windows 8 software update is around 170MB in size and it comes with a range of bug fixes and improvements, some of the improvements include power and performance enhancements.
There are also a couple of bug fixes for audio and video playback in Windows 8, plus Microsoft has also updated a number of their Windows 8 Metro style built in applications.
The Windows 8 software update is now available to existing Windows 8 users, and Microsoft said that “During the final months of Windows 8 we challenged ourselves to create the tools and processes to be able to deliver these “post-RTM”
