MetroPCS Gets Samsung Admire Android Smartphone

MetroPCS is a pre-paid carrier that offers service in many areas with no contract. The company has announced that it has landed a new smartphone for users to check out called the Samsung Admire. The Admire is an Android device and it runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

The smartphone has an 800MHz processor and a 3.5-inch touchscreen. The device also has WiFi and a 3.2MP rear camera with video recording capability. This is no top of the line smartphone, but with no need for a contact, it may be appealing to some.

The Admire will work with the MetroPCS unlimited plans. You can order one up for $129.99 and the rate plans for the smartphone are $50 or $60 monthly. This might be a nice smartphone for the person wanting Android on a budget.

nice metropcs android smart phone just wish they added a stop button to the music player. on metropcs network my phone says 3G instead of 1X wish it was on the 4G LTE

Great phone for students , first time android users and for those not able/willing to spend hundreds of dollars on a phone. Ive had the phone for about two months now and the only major issue that ive encountered to far is of VERY limited internal memory.. I constantly have to add/delete apps when I want a new app. Other than that , considering the price tag , its a great little starter phone
