iPen 2 Pressure Sensitive Stylus Writes On Both iPad And iMac Screens (video)

If you are looking for a new stylus that can write both on your iPad and iMac screen, you might be interested in the newly designed iPen2, which is currently over on the Kickstarter website.

iPen 2 is a universal stylus and mouse which has been designed for both iMac and Apple Displays running Mac OS & Windows.  Watch the video after the jump to learn more about the iPen2 project and see it in action.

The new iPen 2 stylus is equipped with a 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity, and emits a signal from the pen tip, that allows you to hold the stylus any way you like without degrading its performance.

“iPen 2 is more than just an upgrade to iPen 1. From a completely new, beautiful and sleek design, to new technology from the inside out, we’ve completely rethought what a stylus can be. We have developed two versions, one that supports iPad and one for Apple Displays (glass) and iMacs (Mid 2007 and newer) running either Mac OS or Windows.”

“iPen 2 is a next generation stylus that enables you to write directly on your screen. It is designed for iMac and Apple Displays with glass panels. With our new technology, iPen 2 turns your non-touch Apple Display into a stylus friendly screen which is compatible with every application in Mac OS and Windows. Use your iPen 2 as your stylus or mouse as needed. The included stand will hold and charge your iPen 2 and receivers when not in use.”

The iPen2 Stylus project is currently over on the Kickstarter website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production.
