Over the weekend new slides have been leaked which have revealed specifications for the next generation of Intel NUC 2.0 mini PCs that will be powered by Core i3 and i5 Broadwell and Braswell chips.
The Intel documents leaking the new Intel NUC 2.0 systems, have also revealed Intel’s hardware rollout roadmap for the coming years have been obtained and published by the Fanless Tech website.
The documents reveal that the new Intel NUC mini PC systems are expected to be officially launched sometime next year and should be available via retails stores during the first quarter of 2015.
The next generation Intel NUC 2.0 systems measure 4.5 x 4.4 x 1.9 inches in size and will be equipped with a number of features including Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 7.1 connectivity together with channel audio and support for up to 16GB of RAM if required.
The specifications for the new Intel NUC 2.0 revealed that they will be able to accommodate Valve’s Steam OS as well as make powerful media centre systems if required.
